Throw a Change Up
The most common change up is the circle change which is thrown by making a circle with the thumb and index finger and situating the ball deep the hand. Another popular grip is the three finger one. The trick to a quality change up is to keep the arm speed the same as a fastball and to allow the grip to rob the pitch of its velocity. A change up from a right-handed pitcher will often times move down and in on a right handed batter.
